The Slot Canyons are spectacular, the best time to photograph is midday. Light filters down and reflects off the various rock surfaces to give it a spectacular color.
The first time I visited the canyons you had to climb down a ladder and then walk further down, set up the tripod and do your photography. That was 17 years ago today they have stairs and is become a very popular destination, unfortunately you can no longer use tripod.
